This is a delicious burger. The patty can be customized to your liking: beef, chicken, turkey, etc. You can make your own patty, or use a pre formed patty, at your local grocery store. In my YouTube demonstration, I used Trader Joe's Turkey Patties. They are good! They were flavorful, and juicy. I would buy again. You can use bottled Teriyaki Sauce, or use the recipe provided.

BURGER:
1 Hamburger bun
Butter, for grilling bun
Oil, to fry burger
5 Ounces meat (your choice: beef, chicken, turkey, or pre formed patties)
Righteous Seasoning
TERIYAKI SAUCE:
1 Tablespoon corn starch
1 Tablespsoon water
1/2 Cup sugar, or substitute
1/2 Cup low sodium soy sauce
1/4 Cup rice wine vinegar
COLESLAW:
1 Cup cabbage, shredded
1 Tablespoon carrot, shredded
1 Tablespoon pineapple juice
1/2 pineapple ring, diced
1 Tablespoon mayonnaise
Pinch cayenne pepper
TOPPINGS:
1 Tablespoon mayonnaise
1 Teaspoon teriyaki sauce
1 Slice provolone cheese
1 Slice pineapple
1 Slice red onion
DIRECTIONS:
Heat a griddle, or frying pan, over medium high heat. Toast bun; set aside. Oil frying pan, and cook your choice of patty. Season with Righteous Seasoning. Once patty has cooked through, baste with teriyaki sauce. Top patty with provolone cheese, pineapple ring, and red onion. To assemble: Spread buns with mayonnaise. Drizzle teriyaki sauce over mayonnaise. Place patty on top of bottom bun. Spoon coleslaw over patty. Top with bun.
